Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our candles contain only pure beeswax—no blends, no additives, no palm oil, and no petroleum-based ingredients. It is a natural product, just as it is meant to be.
Beeswax is an exclusive, natural raw material with limited availability. Unlike paraffin (which is a fossil fuel by-product) and many stearin candles (which often contain palm oil or animal fats), beeswax is an artisanal material that requires both time and care. Our candles are hand-dipped in small batches—quality always comes before volume.
It is completely natural. Genuine beeswax can develop a pale surface when it reacts with oxygen—a phenomenon known as “bloom.” It is a sign of quality and shows that the candle is made from pure beeswax. If you want to restore its golden hue, you can gently polish the surface with a soft cloth.
Beeswax is nature’s own candle material. It is a renewable raw material with a unique composition that produces a clear, warm, and vibrant flame. Unlike paraffin, which is a fossil fuel by-product, and many stearin candles that may contain palm oil or animal fats, beeswax is a pure and natural alternative. It is not just about what you light—but what you choose to surround yourself with. Beeswax creates a serene, sophisticated atmosphere and a subtle hint of honey that cannot be reproduced synthetically.
We use RAL-certified beeswax from the EU. As we make the candles by hand, it is important for us to know exactly what quality we are working with. The RAL certification means that the beeswax has been tested, is 100% genuine, and has been checked for purity—giving us reliable and consistent quality in every batch we make. Swedish beeswax is also natural and of high quality, but by choosing RAL-certified beeswax, we know that it meets a clearly defined European quality standard. This allows us to focus on the craftsmanship while ensuring that the candles burn cleanly, smell natural, and meet the standards we stand for.
